While this story did have some dark elements, it was watered down. I was sure this would be a dark, gritty story that would keep me on the edge of my seat and have me chewing my nails down to the quick. I'm twisted that way.Īfter reading the blurb for 'Broken: A Dark Romance', I thought I'd ran across a gold mine. The books that come with the long disclaimers, cautioning readers and warning of triggers, are usually my favorites. I love, love, love dark stories that deal with captivity. I picked this book up as a loaner with my Kindle Unlimited membership. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
